Buildings, buildings, buildings. Why so many straight edges? Why so many flat planes? Why so little wiggle room when it comes to accuracy? Normally I go to lengths to make sure I never have to paint anything man made – but I promised my aunt and uncle I would paint their church’s cabin since they were nice enough to let us stay there. – a forced foray into the scary field of architectural painting that was probably long overdue. You have to remember things like perspective and line of sight when you paint buildings – what a pain! But considering I’ve given the subject so little of my time, I think I managed it pretty well. My stairs look a little wobbly, though.
