Well, most of the trees are fully dressed now, and spring is in full gear. It’s a nice change to be painting big, leafy-shaped trees again. But now the trouble is I have to learn not to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of greens – it’s just as easy to get a boring monotone green painting in spring as it is to get a dull grey one in winter. I also have to get another tube of yellow. All those greens have finished off every shade of yellow paint I had in my bag. I was not adequately prepared for spring, apparently.
